Clean black on black AP2 Honda S2000... It's local to me, and remember that article I wrote a while back about doing something crazy and getting an impractical car? This isn't helping.... At all.
$19,750 for a 23k 2004 Honda S2000.. NP all day.

It seems too expensive for a private party sale. Nice car though.

If you could negotiate it to $17k your set and it's a steal. I mean, at least local to me, dealers are asking upper teens for S2k's with 50k+ miles and worse condition. Sure a cheaper one could be had, but this is a pretty mint looking example

True, just depends what it looks like in person.

Yeah, if everything checks out it's a good deal. But you really do have to check it out in person to really know

I'm always a sucker for black on black (that's what most of my cars have been, even my S2000). I drove the S2000 I had year round as a DD. Great little car.

It will make you giggle like a little schoolgirl.

How was it DD'ing it? Especially in a place that actually gets winter! I wouldn't mind picking up a cheaper S2K as a second car/fun car/DD

It was good. The car got decent mileage, was fun, and was durable/dependable. Since it was manual I never had much problem with it in the snow. The wide tires have all the normal issues of being prone to hydroplaning and not wanting good purchase on snow, but the clutch gave good feedback as did the steering so it wasn't bad.
We always took it out on snowy days with the top down and pretended it was a sleigh ride... that could occasionally drift and spray people with snow.

Haha sounds like you enjoyed it. Was the (lack of) space ever a problem? The trunk just looks so small

Not really. It just prevented my wife from bringing extra crap with us on vacation. I only ever take a backpack with me even when flying for business, so it never really impacted me. We used the wife's car for big grocery runs and places like Costco.
